Holly Ward Bimba is the artist behind Golly Bard. 

Her watercolor paintings are inspired by just about everything, but mostly a jumble of natural history, curiosities of nature, all kinds of flora and fauna from her garden, the cycle of life, patterns, formal gardens, and miniatures of the mughal court. 

When she is not painting you will find her taking long walks, documenting odd bits of nature or digging in her cottage garden where she grows heirloom dahlias, native flora for pollinators, and has a passion for specialty snowdrops. She loves reading weird books and watching birds from her kitchen window.

She lives in Upperville, Virginia with her husband, Chuck and dogs, Ladybird and J. Atticus Finch a.k.a. Birdie and Jem.
